Oaks Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Ames, Iowa.

Oaks Golf Course first opened for play in 1960.

This tight course has medium-sized greens and numerous mature trees define the fairways. 

The most demanding hole is #4, a 370-yard, par 4, which requires a tee shot over water to an elevated green guarded by out-of-bounds stakes. 

Ladies hit from the same set of tees as the men.

White tees: par-36, 2,935 yards, 33.4 / 107

This neighborhood bargain rate course closed in 2012. The course was scheduled to be repurposed for estate luxury homes.
